Lily has a sibling, her brother Jack Bates, a local photographer renowned for his artistry. The roots of Lily's family trace back to her Great, Great Grandparents, who arrived in Jupiter in 1953, paving the way for generations of the Bates family to call Florida their home.
Lily's affinity for the rich history of Jupiter's early pioneers and its surrounding area has been a constant thread throughout her life. This connection deepened even further when she became the wife of William O'Leary V, the grandson of Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, who were esteemed pioneers of North Palm Beach. In 2010, Lily proudly graduated from Jupiter High School, embarking on a journey that led her to obtain a Professional Sales Degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee.
